About Melissa Atkins

Hello everyone, My name is Mel I'm a self taught

artist located in Tamworth NSW. I nurse by night

and practice my art by day haha But I'm no superhero.

I have spent the last four years studying nursing and

am only just starting to have the time to express myself

artistically. I have much to learn and I am very excited 

​to do so :). I love love love being challenged with weird ideas

for photo shoots. So I implore you to test me, use your imagination so that something amazing can come out of it in the end <3.I have a love for all things unusual, modern doesn't visit here often. Creativity is something that I crave, the more color the better I say!!...anyway luckily for me i have my beautiful fiancé Joshua who I love dearly who is a reptile lover, our house has snakes and turtles and lizards, it keeps things interesting as he has his reptile room and I have my studio. we have both learnt that you need to do what makes you happy and that's what we plan on doing! Everyone needs a passion. I am      privileged to know some wonderful people some of whom are also artistically talented and are very supportive in my endeavor's. I love meeting new people as everyone has a story and something to share. I work out of my studio at my house its small but I enjoy spending time in it sewing, drawing, editing and thinking up my next photo shoot. We all need a little time to be creative.
